Ambergris Caye, Belize

Ambergris Caye is the largest island in Belize with a length of 40 kilometers and 1.6 kilometers wide. Elongated white beaches and in the middle of the island is surrounded by a Mangrove swamp area which according to some residents, when the rainy season, the crocodiles roam the island and mosquitoes have become more ferocious savage. The island has one town called San Pedro, but more like villages than cities, villages that have airport! The main transportation on the island is Golf cart! Cars can be counted on the fingers, but golf carts are everywhere and can be rented daily or weekly.

In addition, the boat (water taxi) also became the ambergris Caye citizens’ common transportation. Its people come from different races and ethnicities; Maya, Kriols, Garinagu, and Mestizo. Their everyday language is English and Belizean Kriols. The people in the ambergris Caye are incredibly friendly. They greeted each passed or smile and even sometimes invited to chat. The sellers of diving / snorkeling services or souvenirs on the streets are very friendly, although we rejected their services. In short, they are very casual and relaxed.

About food, one of the favorites is the Johnny cake that looks like bread, but this can be made from corn or flour. Other foods may be somewhat similar to Mexico, such as fajita, buritos, flank steak and ceviche (seafood with citrus and spices served with nachos). A very spicy chili called habaneros. I recommend to be careful when eating fresh habaneros if you do not want to visit damaged because of stomach pain. WiFi is available everywhere even in low budget hotels. This clearly supports the tourism in this location. Tourism here is intended for those who love water activities at sea such as diving, snorkeling, jet sky, fishing and other water activities.

Saint Tropez-Billionaires Heaven

The Riviera or the French Riviera or the French language known as ‘Côte d’Azur’ is a very popular place for tourists and the region producing flowers for the purposes of making perfume. Rows of small towns along the Riviera, among others are Saint-Tropez, Antibes, Cannes, Nice, Menton and Monte Carlo.

Of course, in this city we will find a row of super long-boat small boat and ‘super yacht’ or a private yacht that super luxurious, owned by the billionaire. Both are equipped with screens or not.
In the 50s, this fishing village is just a small village. Temperatures here during the day around 22 ° C, the air is comfortable to enjoy the streets of Saint Tropez. Rows of street artists display paintings were lined up along the quay. They exhibit oil paintings in various sizes. They painted the seascape, scenery dock, and sketch the face, of course listed under St-Tropez as his trademark. Picture gallery of the edge of this road are labeled price 10-20 €.
Traveling around the city that only has a population of 5500 inhabitants, is an interesting experience. Alleys used as a road car is typical view in Saint-Tropez. Housing residents are mostly living in flats or apartment houses. Actually, this vast territory but because it is the economic center in the field of tourism, the population is only solid in the small town.

No less interesting place to visit is The Citadel of Saint-Tropez. Entrance is € 2.50, from the top of this hill could see the whole city and the blue Mediterranean Sea views.

This building established for the defense was built 400 years ago. From the spatial layer surrounding the building, high wall with only one entrance, on guard by some of the top fort, cannons and guns are also facing towards the sea.

San Francisco

Typical characteristics of a very prominent San Francisco is about the weather, the soil surface up and down the steep cable car with her and of course a very famous Bridge of the Golden Gate.

Landed at San Francisco International Airport at 19:30 hours local time, weather is still very bright. Earlier that week in May, in San Francisco’s blue skies clean without a speck of cloud was that entrenched there. But do not ask where the air temperature.

Bright weather that was almost visible as a hot, in fact, to newcomers who come from tropical areas, it will feel cold which could even make body shivered. At that time, after undergoing ground formalities such as immigration and security checks are super tight, not felt the clock showed 21:00 am, the air outside was pitch-dark, highly contrasting with the condition when the plane landed shortly.

Cold stung, especially when wind blows. The wind that supposedly originated from the famous Pacific Ocean’s cold. Special about the cold air in San Francisco, who said they always, hit on throughout the year, marked also with the famous words of Mark Twain, a famous American novelist who lived in the years 1835 to 1910. He says: The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

Besides the cold, the city of San Francisco located in a very bumpy ground, up and down with a very steep condition. Some roads even intangible form that climb at an angle of nearly 60 degrees!

But the road conditions so it does not preclude the conduct of local government in the form of public transport tram, known as the cable car, an old tram which operated manually by cable car system. This cable car was first operated by “Clay Street Hill Rail Road”, with the launch of its first year at August, 2, 1873. Cassis, France’s Small Heaven

If you ever visit the Eiffel tower and was amazed by the grandeur, then in the town of Cassis, you will be amazed at the number of coral bay which is incredible scenery displayed in front of the eye.

Cassis, a town in the area of Bouches-du-Rhône, is a small town with views of sky-blue ocean. The blue color is so stunning play, with fishing boats to large sailing ships on it. My family loved the ocean, but ocean in this Cote d’Azur region feels very different, each with his blue eyes that met this ocean directly chuckled amazed.

Actually, the city of Cassis is known more for Gulf reef, even by many as Europe’s most beautiful tourist. But does not mean the old city Cassis has no privileges. From Paris to the city where the number of millionaires living, there is no direct train or plane, must pass through the big city of Marseille. Quickly by train TGV Paris – Marseille 3-hour running time and then connect by train to Cassis area about 20 minutes. The best period to visit this city is from May to June.

Cassis city during Roman times is part of the maritime trade routes to North Africa and the Middle East created by the Emperor Antoninus Pius. Formerly a fishing town of Cassis and crafters shellfish is now arguably as a major tourist destination to enjoy the Mediterranean Sea and admire the charming bay reefs.

What to see and visit here? Revisiting the old town of Cassis, my suggestion on foot, because the city has many small streets with a ladder that is more that we can enjoy on foot. Some of the unique boutiques offer local products to be decorated with lovely hearts entertainer. Any restaurant or cafe can be found in some small way here.
